Q. What's the performance trade off between your standard boards and the BIODEGRADABLE line?

THERE IS NO TRADE-OFF.

There is no trade-off between the positive environmental attributes of Insite® BIODEGRADABLE and Duraplast® BIODEGRADABLE and their physical performance. These materials look and feel the same as their respective "non-biodegradable" versions and perform identically on the job.

The breakdown of the biodegradable foamboard does not begin until the foamboards are discarded in a landfill or similar solid waste treatment facility.
